Text Box: Schultheis Electric was on site to support Schultheis Automation with the installation of the MCC unit, Switch Gear, and Conduit Installation, which was designed by our in house engineers for a turn-key solution
Text Box: Our Customers specifications was to re-engineer and retrofitted several machines. We were to retrofit existing controls, add new controls, and engineer for batch processes of operation.
Schultheis Automation Re-Designed the Blending Mill and the Classifier units for this particular project. This Re-Engineering includes upgrading existing hardware componetnts, rewiring/reconfiguring of PLC hardware & software, and Text Box: installing operator interfaces (HMI’s).
The project was to integrate several pieces of machinery into a batch process; a blending mill, classifier, baghouse, MCC, switch gear and a compressor.
Retrofitting a previously installed Allen-Bradley PLC 5, we were able to rewrite the existing program for the machine’s new environment.

Blending Mill & Classifier Project

Technical duties for Installation & Startup

Schultheis Automation provided trained representatives for a minimum of three consecutive weeks (five days per week, eight hours per day )to provide technical assistance during the course of the installation of the new system for each machine.

Schultheis Automation engineers integrated two (2) Allen-Bradley 1000 PanelView HMI’s to the Allen-Bradley PLC 5 process via DH+ communication for the operation of the Classifier Machine and Blending Mill.

Project Management and scheduling was implemented for the success of the project on time and on budget.
